Some random thoughts This morning I saw, for the first time, the advertisement by former Mayor Michael Bloomberg complaining about violence and division in the Country and calling on all Americans to vote Democratic to bring back peace and bipartisanship. Riddle me this Batman, what in the last two years leads Mayor Bloomberg to think a Democrat majority in either or both Houses of Congress will lead to peace and bipartisanship?  Was it the calls of Rep. Maxine Waters, Sen. Corey Booker, Hillary Clinton, and Eric Holder for people to get abusive toward Republicans?  Was it Nancy Pelosi's statements that if Democrats win the House then anyone who disagrees with them will be at best ignored and just become collateral damage for the next two years? A growing cry among Democrats is Medicare for all.  It was started by Senator Bernie Sanders and has been picked up by liberal Democrat candidates around the country. I think it was pretty obvious in 2015 and 2016 that the Democrat National Committee (DNC) was trying to rig the primaries for Hillary Clinton.  Then leaked emails provided proof that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and others in the DNC were supporting Hillary.    But I did not suspect how far it went.  Now we have revelations by Donna Brazile who took over as DNC chair after Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was forced to resign.  The title of the article says it all - "Inside Hillary Clinton's Secret Takeover of the DNC."    A comment in the article - which is an excerpt from Ms. Brazile's book - that deserves more attention is her statement that Hillary Clinton had made campaign finance reform a key platform in her campaign.  Ms. Brazile describes how having control of the DNC allowed Hillary's campaign to bypass the restrictions on campaign donations.   A classic case of "do as I say, not as I do," which many Clinton critics say has alw...

One woman accuses Bill Cosby of drugging and raping her and people believe his denials.  Many women accuse Bill Cosby and the number of accusations has people convicting him. One FBI agent writes a book in the 1990s decrying Hillary Clinton's behavior in the White House and people shrug it off.  We're now up to how many books?  One by an FBI agent responsible for White House Security.  One by a Secret Service agent who was on the Presidential detail.  Three by authors who hunted down different sources to write books. The authors include: Kate Anderson Brower, Ed Stein, Ron Kessler.  The Secret Service Agent - Gary Byrne.  I forget the FBI agent who wrote the book in the 90s. Hillary Clinton is described as being an arrogant, imperial ruler who has no respect or regard for the people who work for her and no respect for maintaining security when it is inconvenient to her. Women can hold the same jobs as men.  They can play the same sports as men.  They get as many college scholarships and dollars for athletics as men.  Women can join the same clubs as men. Women are liberated in all ways except one.  They are not allowed independent political thought.  No that's one area where women are not allowed to be liberated. The latest example - Terry O'Neill, President of the National Organization of Women slamming the statements of female commentators on Fox News - "I think that anti-woman backlash is to be expected from anti-woman conservatives." But the limitation on liberation does not just apply to conservative women.  Gloria Steinem previously said that young women supporting Bernie Sanders were doing so because that's where the boys are.  Madeleine Albright on the same subject said there is "a special place in Hell" for women who don't vote for Hillary Clinton. The question of the day is are actions of 20 years ago important to this election or not?  Donald Trump accuses Hillary Clinton of being an enabler of Bill Clinton's predatory nature.  In response, Hillary won't talk or offers answers that deflect, and liberal supporters of Hillary say that's old news and is no longer important. Past quotes from Hillary Clinton have come forth that could demolish her support from the African-American community, assuming they get reported and assuming the African-American community cares (I'll blog on that another time). Her specific comments: "They are often the kinds of kids that are called 'super-predators,' " Hillary Clinton said then. "No conscience, no empathy. We can talk about why they ended up that way, but first we have to bring them to heel." This will be a problem for the Democrats throughout the primary process and it will become enormous if Hillary does not win the popular vote outright.  What I am talking about are the "Super Delegates" of the Democrat party.  These are party insiders who get to vote on the Democrat Presidential nominee without being selected by the voters during the primary process. Right now these delegates are going overwhelmingly to Hillary Clinton. Republicans call for the next President to appoint the replacement for Justice Scalia.  Know why they want to do that?  Politics?  Nope.  They want a Conservative on the Court?  Nope. They said that because they are racists.  Yep.  That's the case being made now. Oppose President Obama on anything and the only reason you are doing so is because you are a racist. For the last 8 years we've heard about Conservatives are racist, terrorists, Nazis, fascists, warmongers, and a variety of other names.  In recent weeks the bigotry of the Left has been put on display. Well I was sort of right about the Republican Primary. Two of the Governors did well enough to move on, as I thought.  I was wrong about which one would come in last - thinking it would be Bush not Christie.  That's one I should have seen coming - Christie was a tough guy in the debates but really did not have a solid message.  I was not surprised by Gov. Kasich doing so well.  His name came up a lot when voters when media types were talking to voters. Cruz did drop - but not as far as I thought.  Rubio, on the other hand, did drop like a stone as I predicted. Feel the BERN! Bernie Sanders is a huge surprise.  A guy almost 80 years old from a tiny state dominating the youth vote.  He's going to win big in New Hampshire.  That will create a massive momentum shift in his direction.  I think he's in this til the Convention. Hillary is counting on the minority vote in the South but an interesting analysis by Dick Morris points out that while there are some Southern State primaries coming up there are also Northern State primaries coming up.  The potential votes in the near term North and South primaries balance each other out.  He feels the decision won't be made until March 15. Were I given an opportunity to ask a question of the Republican and Democrat nominees for President, this is the one I'd ask about Benghazi: In your Administration, if American men and women are under siege as they were at Benghazi will there be American airplanes overhead and American soldiers on their way immediately to provide support or will you keep them on the sidelines doing nothing as the Obama Administration did? Hillary Clinton's criticism of Bernie Sanders is that his ideas are pie in the sky while she knows how to get things done.  Let's consider their records on the subject of health insurance. Bernie Sanders advocates a single payer system.  That's a real bad idea but we'll save that for another time.  Hillary Clinton derides this saying it is a proposal that sounds good but won't every get passed. What's Hillary's record on health insurance reform?  Oh yeah, in the early 1990's she gathered together a group of really smart people, held meetings behind closed doors, would not share details with anyone and what did she come up with?  A proposal that started out with bi-partisan support but when people were able to understand how it would work, they realized Hillary's proposal was a really bad idea and it got shot down in Congress. Therefore the choice seems to be Bernie Sanders who Hillary says has a nice idea that can't pass or Hillary Clinton ...

If Democrat insiders - examples: Hillary Clinton, her campaign, Democrats who want her to win, President Obama and his supporters, and the Liberal media types who support them - really cared about the poor wouldn't they be talking about all the people out of work who have fallen off the Unemployment rolls?  Wouldn't they be saying the unemployment problem is much worse than the unemployment rate reported by the Government?  Wouldn't they be mentioning the fact that the employment levels in the US are lower than they have been in quite some time? Whoever advised Hillary Clinton to call Donald Trump sexist is a moron.   Hillary called Donald Trump sexist and the Clinton Campaign must have expected the media to play the "War on Women" card and beat up Trump and that Trump, like so many others, would be forced on the defensive, unable or reluctant to fight back. Boy did they get that wrong.  What's that saying about how people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones?
