Charlie Kirk believed in free speech and debate.  His process was peaceful.  Charlie Kirk went to colleges and other locations to listen to the views of others and offer his responses.   He would answer any question and talk to anyone.  Charlie Kirk was murdered because he offered ideas others did not want anyone to hear.  Progressives have tried for years to stop him going to College campuses.  Local branches of Mr. Kirk's Turning Point USA have had their tables and materials attacked and vandalized.   And now Charlie Kirk is assassinated - the culmination of all the efforts by progressives to deny him free speech, to prevent others from hearing what he has to say.  Zohran Mamdani, NY State Assemblyman and candidate for NYC Mayor, has suggested the idea of City run supermarkets.  Specifically, Mr. Mamdani proposes five supermarkets, one in each NY City Borough and all run by the City of New York.  The idea would be to provide low-cost food to underserved New Yorkers. It sounds like a good idea.  I think Mr. Mamdani should do it but in a slightly different way.  I suggest Mr. Mamdani create a non-profit organization.  Mr. Mamdani can then create a business plan describing how the supermarkets would work.  To show his support for the idea, Mr. Mamdani should put his money where his mouth is - pony some of his own cash and money from his family. With seed money, a business plan and the offer of tax-deductions, Mr. Mamdani can then start tapping his friends - including the ones who attended his wedding in Uganda, they are not paupers.  Mr. Mamdani can also reach out to supporters, like the billionaire hedge fund...

Opponents are deriding Elon Musk as an unelected bureaucrat - for example Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts said "no one elected Elon Musk."  Senator Schumer, Minority Leader and senior Senator from NY, was quoted saying "Its like letting a tiger into the petting zoo..." and "...the US was witnessing a hostile takeover of the federal government..."*1  Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called it a "plutocratic coup."*2  Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn) said "this is what the beginning of dictatorship looks like." *3   A University of North Carolina law professor, Michael J.  The world is aflame, with terror attacks against Israel in the Middle East.  Antisemitism is on the rise across the US and our troops are being attacked overseas by Iranian proxies.  The Biden Administration is still planning on giving the Iranian Government billions of dollars, which will allow them to continue to fund terror.  The US economy teeters day to day on the news and people a fleeing to gold to protect their money.  The US government is weeks away from shutting down when the Continuing Resolution expires.   And the US House of Representatives was paralyzed because a small group of conservative Republican members, in a snit, voted out the Speaker of the House. It seems that any time a person opposes something they are labeled - at least that happens to Conservatives.  Racist, misogynist, Islamophobic, Homophobic are terms tossed out when a Conservative stakes out a position in opposition to something the Democrats propose.  I'd like to offer some words that can be applied the other direction.
