When will we see the apologies?

CNN Reports the firing of Puerto Rico's emergency manager on Saturday.  The firing occurred after a warehouse filled with supplies from Hurricane Maria was discovered.  That was the hurricane that hit the island two years ago.  Now I'm waiting to see if anyone apologizes to President Trump for the criticism directed at him regarding the relief efforts.

During the post-hurricane disaster relief effort, the media and some local Puerto Rico politicians complained about the lack of supplies.  There were complaints about how many people died due to the lack of food and water. 

Now we find that a Puerto Rico government agency was hoarding supplies for over two years.

So I ask again, when will we see the apologies to President Trump or at least to the men and women of the Federal agencies like FEMA, the Coast Guard and the US Navy, that worked so hard to get those supplies to the Island, and an admission that the problem two years ago was the ineptitude and possible corruption of some Puerto Rico officials.

Okay, so I am not holding my breath on that one.  But this kind of thing needs to be remembered the next time a disaster happens.  The success or failure of any disaster relief effort depends on the local and State governments, not the Federal Government.

H-1B Visas are a good idea in theory.  People around the world want to come to the United States to work and live.  Why not invite the best and brightest.  Bring top talent to the US to help our businesses, industry and military remain the top in the world. Then there is that pesky thing called reality.  I've worked for small companies with less than 250 employees and companies with hundreds of thousands of employees, and companies in between.  I've seen the reality I'm describing. The Biden Administration blew it on Covid

 It's about a year now since Joe Biden was sworn in as President and we can see the Biden Administration has handled the Coronavirus situation horribly.  The Administration had a fantastic opportunity to declare victory early in 2021 and put this behind us.  But they chose not to do that.  The Biden Administration dropped the ball on pursuing the things America needs to put Covid in the rear view mirror while offering a message of fear and dictatorial mandates, and wedding themselves to a bureaucrat who declared that he is the science.  The result was more Covid 19 deaths in 2021 than in 2020, strong disagreement and a loss of public confidence in the measures promoted by the Biden Administration, none of which is good for America.
